The British Academy is inviting proposals focused on evidence-informed policy-making in Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Philippines, South Africa, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, and/or Least Developed Countries. This initiative seeks to support research that enhances the use of evidence in shaping policies across diverse global contexts, aiming to strengthen decision-making processes and foster positive, sustainable outcomes. Proposals are encouraged to address key challenges and promote the effective use of research in policy development.
The £337m International Science Partnerships Fund aims to drive global research and innovation, fostering prosperity and potential. It places research at the core of the UK’s international relationships, supporting UK researchers and innovators to collaborate with global peers on pressing global challenges. Managed by the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology, the fund enables international partnerships to address key issues, from climate change to healthcare. Delivered by a consortium of the UK’s leading research and innovation bodies, it strengthens the UK’s position as a global leader in science and innovation.
